"I chose this hotel because I assumed it would be old fashioned and full of character. So it turned out to be. It is very conveniently located. Inside is very comfortable if a little tired in places. The chairs are buttoned leather and the clientele at the time I stayed were in their golden years. Our room was very spacious but oddly shaped. It all added to the charm. Recommended."

"The Jewels in the crown of Hotel Miramar are it's beautiful well kept front Gardens, patio area and stunning sea views. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms cleanliness was very good. Location of the Hotel is close to sea front, and the wonderful Russell Cotes house. "Although on arrival the rooms were clean. They allocated one room in the loft and my friend who is 4ft 10 ins banged her head twice as the ceiling was very low. They did allocate another room. Rooms were very small. We did not want them to change the sheets or bath towels but they did not do the bed properly. Everything else was acceptable. Staff in reception were helpful. Wish the food was slightly cheaper, very expensive breakfast. A full english breakfast with fruits. Juices, cereals,...

"Unfortunately on 2nd floor shower was cold to barely lukewarm for the entire weekend in March. Heating too was off when we arrived but later fixed. No breakfast available and noise throughout the night with banging doors talking laughing etc. Odour exists in rooms and corridors. Hotel is a throwback to the 60's and badly in need of a total renovation. However the price is quite cheap so you get what you pay for."

"The staff was very helpful and friendly . We had breakfast there which was very nice . Didn't like the Coffee and Tea in the Room's . Carpets was stained ,Shelf in Bathroom was very dirty . Hotel needs a mega upgrade , but for the price it was o.k. Bed's where good to sleep in ,could have done with an extra Pillow . Is a very low budget Hotel ."
