"A lovely hotel, comfortable room, great location in a fishing village. 45 minutes from Bilbao ferry. Secure underground parking for my motorbike. Lovely staff. I didn't have the time to eat in the restaurant but the bar food was good. I would go back there."

"This is a hostel not a hotel. There were no staff present for reception and no contact phone number. I was supposed to have received access codes but nothing got through to me. I only got in with the help of another guest. I could not register my passport There was no water glass in the room. The heating was not on - I had to sleep in my clothes This probably ok for backpackers but at 70 euros a night it was extremely expensive for what it offered."

"Una maravilla, el alojamiento es más bonito en realidad que en las fotos, estancias muy amplias y nuevas. La atención de 10, muy amables y atentos. Como pega, está un poco a desmano de todo, pero es ideal para desconectar y descansar. Muy tranquilo!"

"Absolutely wonderful stay! My fear when I stay in the area is always humidity/musty rooms… but in Ixua there’s no sign of anything less than pristine. It all looks, feels and is clean. The rooms are extremely comfortable. The views are well… worth everything. The food and service absolutely amazing. Thank you Roberto and Munya."

"The building is beautiful from the outside, but it is in desperate need of maintenance and renovation on the inside. The only positive aspects of my stay were the breakfast buffet, which was excellent, and the housekeeping staff. The cleaning team did an outstanding job and kept the rooms clean and well maintained throughout my stay. Overall, despite a few positive points, I would not consider this a true four-star hotel and would not choose to stay here again."
