"Reluctant to write a negative review but, sadly, this motel merits a poor rating. A kind description would be rustic, an honest appraisal would be shoddy and poorly maintained. The room smelt musty, there was mould around cracked tiles in the bathroom, the windows had that hazy look of ingrained dust and grime, the bedroom carpet was ancient & stained and the fabric on the corners of the bed was ripped. To make matters worse, the room door frames were warped so the doors had to be slammed to...

"What an extraordinary property. This beautiful and ancient stone house in the mountains is brimming with character. The rooms are beautiful and quirky in the very best of ways. The views are dramatic and exquisite. The owners are lovely people and made us very welcome. Breakfast was a feast of lovely pastries, bread, preserves and muesli type cereals. I cannot recommend this place enough and I'm sure that we will come back here again. "

"Staff was fantastic, so helpful, early check in by 9AM after the overnight ferry from Nice. Room well equipped w kettle and frig, well located just up the street from the Tourist office and large town square. The tourist train took us around town through the old port and up to the citadel. "Accès très très difficile, sans indications ou d’informations pour trouver la chambre d’hôtes. Aucune lumière extérieure. Apparement le propriétaire le fait 4 fois par jour mais nous l’avons jamais rencontré, aucune explications ou de détails concernant la chambre… Concernant la prestation , matériaux de qualités mais aucune finitions ( plaintes de la salle de bain se décollent, cuvette des toilettes HS…) Nous avons été réveillé à 5h du matin par le jour ,pas de volet ou de rideaux sur les...
