The room was very hot. I got the feeling that they cap the AC at a desired number, so even though I kept turning it lower it never got cool enough to sleep comfortably through the night. The hallway on the third floor smelled moldy. The shuttle service to the airport was for a free altough at reservation time this was not specified. The beds are ok and only one pillow was on it. The staff was great!

After a very disappointing experience at another hotel in Bologna, Hotel Bologna Airport was a huge relief for our family. We booked this hotel at the last minute after our previous hotel was unable to provide a room with working air conditioning, and we needed a comfortable place to rest before our early morning flight to London. The front desk staff were efficient and helpful, quickly arranging two rooms for our family of four and scheduling the paid airport shuttle for the next morning. The check-in process was smooth despite our late arrival. Although we were only able to stay for about six hours before leaving for the airport, we immediately appreciated the clean, comfortable rooms, cold and fully functioning air conditioning, and very comfortable beds. The hotel also offers complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby, which was a thoughtful touch before our early departure. Unfortunately, our stay was too short to enjoy the hotel's other amenities. The overall comfort, cleanliness, and atmosphere reminded us of staying at a Marriott or Hilton in the United States.

We chose this location because it was near the Ducati factory and museum. The hotel was a decent place to spend the night and I would stay there again. There was a coffee shop and restaurant in the lobby. We didn't visit the coffee shop. The restaurant was fine and since we didn't want to take a taxi or uber it suited us. The food was good, not one of our favorites while in Europe. We were tired from traveling but looking back we would have made the effort to eat somewhere else since it was our only night in Bologna. The true plus of this hotel for us was that we could walk to the Ducati museum. We arrived on a Friday night so the factory tour was not an option but my husband already has it planned for another trip. It was a bit of a walk but completely doable. The website stated the museum was closed for renovations so we were just planning on taking some photos from outside but there were people in the guard building and when we asked they said the museum was open that day so it was a nice surprise for us both. I will add that I thought this hotel was closer to the airport than it is, fully my mistake. I mention this because we were a bit caught off guard with how to get from the airport to the hotel. There is a taxi line outside the airport which is what we ultimately decided to do. My phone was not working well upon arriving in Europe and I couldn't get in touch with the hotel to get an understanding of the shuttle. I originally planned to walk, that was not possible.

We traveled from the US to stay at this hotel because it’s convenient and close to the airport. The staff was wonderful and friendly. The amenities were very nice. One of my favorite features was the blackout windows. The only downfall is the very hard mattresses. Difficult to get comfortable and good rest, especially when traveling from so far away. Other than that, a good place to stay.

The Expedia Representative told us that breakfast and transportation were included. The Airport Shuttle bus only ran to the Airport every 1/2 hour, not at any time one would need it. We had to pay 17.00 Euros for transportation and 15.00 Euros for breakfast. This was very expensive for three individuals who had been told that these very important amenities were included.

Unfortunately, our stay at Hotel Bologna Airport was disappointing. The room was not as advertised and felt very dated. The pillows were completely inadequate, and the bed was like sleeping on a board, making it nearly impossible to get a comfortable night’s sleep. The television did not work during our stay, and the hair dryer appeared so antiquated that we didn’t even attempt to use it. Despite the name, the hotel is not particularly close to the airport or to any restaurants or attractions. To make matters worse, the hotel charges €15 for its airport shuttle service, which felt excessive given the location. Overall, the accommodations did not meet our expectations and were not reflective of the photos or description provided.

This hotel was a very pleasant surprise! The room was comfortable, clean and very cool during the recent heatwave. The prices are very fair too. The hotel restaurant is outstanding, especially for an airport hotel. Great Bolognese specialties! The hotel bartender is very gracious and drinks are lovely. I highly recommend it! Be aware that there is a fee for the hotel shuttle bus, but it’s much cheaper than a taxi from the airport, so I didn’t mind paying at all.

Clean hotel and fine for a 1 night stay prior to your flight. The rooms need renovating though. It is old and tired looking. The look of the hotel from the outside photos is deceiving. The walls are paper thin and it feels like you are in the same room as your neighbour. You can hear everything they are saying. But like I say, sufficient for 1 night. Shuttle is handy.
