"Royal Hotel Carlton is a very nice, clean hotel with a pleasant atmosphere and wonderful staff overall. I would definitely stay here again. After a 17-hour flight, we were exhausted and looking forward to relaxing with a cappuccino. Upon check-in, the front desk staff was extremely friendly and told us we could go to the restaurant for one. Since our room was not ready yet, we had not been given a room number. As we walked to the restaurant, a gentleman wearing glasses and a suit stopped us...

"We loved our two night stay as the hotel was really centrally located for Bologna centre! Our room was gorgeous and we had access to a small olive garden that we could directly access from our room. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly also. A lovely stay at the start of our Italian road trip to the south!"
