"First impressions can make or break a stay. When pulling up to check in, the valet attendant lets you know you can’t park in the front and is less than helpful when asking where to park so you can check in. The resort is pretty big and it isn’t obvious where to park and you can’t park until you get your key from checking in. The resort does not take cash but many of the employees prefer cash tips, plan to charge to your room. There is a 45$ night resort fee as well as 28 self parking or 36 for valet nightly parking charge. I wish it was included in the original price so there aren’t hidden surprises. There is an amazing hot tub on the roof and you can watch spectacular sunsets. The roof pool is only 4 feet deep but beautiful. The downstairs pool is nice and a bit deeper. The pools did close randomly for private events and we did have to change plans more than once. Restaurants are okay but have limited options and aren’t always open, food is delicious. They are varied hours and days of operation. You may think you are going to eat a specific meal and looking forward to it but it may not be open on that day or at that particular time. There are many bar areas. The rooms are okay, good size and clean. We were on the top floor of the main building and the water in the shower was scorching hot. If you like it hot, hot, then you will enjoy. If you don’t then only a trickle of water so you don’t burn yourself. Everyone is friendly. It is okay but was a bit disappointed at times."
