"We had a very pleasant stay at the Hadley Bowling Green Inn - a great welcome, good dinner and breakfast, quiet room. We were surprised at how full the restaurant was on a Tuesday evening for a country pub which isn't even in a hamlet! They must be doing something right."

"The rooms are basic but for short stays ideal and for the price a bargain, (from a woman’s point of view they could do with a shelf other than the one beside the bed to put toiletries on in the bedroom and one in the shower cubicle) The rooms are clean and have tv, safe and tea/coffee making facilities.
