"Yes I was late for 9.00pm check in , but the pub was supposed to be open to 10Pm which it was not. Did not answer initial messages about a refund and refused a refund after Expedia called to request one. Make you own mind up what kind of place this is. "

"The only issue we had was there was no one to check us in, The contact numbers we had no one answered. We actually felt like we were trespassing. After driving around for an hour someone finally returned our call & messages and arranged to meet us. We had almost given up & were going to go home. Having said that we ended up having a really enjoyable stay :)"

"This hotel exceeded my expectations. When you entered, the first thing that greets you is the fresh smell. Everything was so clean. Greeted by a staff member who spoke like he was in the ritz hotel. Old fashioned customer service. Wonderful! Room was clean, even the toiletries in the bathroom were good quality. Restaurants nearby. So pleased that we found this gem! Wouldn’t hesitate to go back."

"The hairdryer was not working. It was very noisy as there is a dual carriageway near the hotel. The room was very hot and stuffy, no air conditioning only very small old-fashioned fan."

"Expedia should be ashamed to charge for accommodation in what was a hostel for vagrants. During the period that access was unavailable to us, a neighbour told us that the Hamilton was used to house council-sent people, and we saw three such unfortunate people waiting to enter. My wife was frightened by the property when access was eventually gained, describing it as being like her idea of a prison, and I found it forbidding and inhospitable. "The place was cute, and the neighbor was very kind, he came out to talk to us when we were trying to figure out parking the first night. The drive isn’t big enough for any car larger than a Mini, but there’s ample space for parking on the curb. The only real downside was the amount of bugs within the property. Any corner that was looked at held spiders of considerable size. I don’t recommend this place to anyone who’s as sensitive to those things as I am. We sat on the back porch the first night...

"Staff very friendly and helpful, super breakfast, we didn't park a car but looked ok, the room was clean but the air conditioning wasn't up to the standard I expected intact it didn't cool the room at all There was tea and coffee making facilities with biscuits however I thought a small mini drinks fridge would have been nice to keep water and pop cool"
