"Really friendly owners Hugh and Marian, very good company! They took us up to feed the horses and meet the other friendly animals. We stayed in a little independent suite which was warm and cosy. Extreme comfortably bed!! Wonderful breakfast. 10/10"

"We paid, as you can see. We turned up around an hour after booking to check in. We were completely ignored by passing staff regardless of the fact that there were four of us standing around with our bags to check in. We eventually got greeted by an abrupt member of staff. Who told us she needed to get someone else to check us in. This other member of staff came around 15 minutes later, so we bought a drink each whilst we were waiting. This other member of staff then told us they didnt realise...

"I thought the breakfast was fine. Lots of options for a full or light meal. I had fruit & porridge which was delicious. Husband said his fruit, yogurt and toast was fine. Choices of teas, coffees etc. Others appeared to be enjoying theirs as well. Eating and food area spotless as was the hotel overall. We have not stayed there before but will do so next time we travel. It was worth the money."
