"Had all the essentials, good location and good shower. The bed was unfortunately very hard and uncomfortable and there was a constant whirring sound in the room a bit like a faint extractor fan. It just wouldn't stop and, as a light sleeper, made it difficult to get to sleep. Our room was also next to reception and early in the morning we could hear all the conversations going on at the reception desk and in the breakfast area. "Lovely area, the grounds are stunning. Staff welcoming one in particular a barman from New Zealand very friendly and helped us enjoy our drink and meal in the bar. The room was exceptional, comfy bed and chairs, spacious, lovely royal style carpet, even a little balcony. Shower gel and Shampoo top class. Spa - ok, hot tub needs to be a higher temperature and more powerful and lighting should be darker. "
