"Room was clean, we stayed in the lodge, so could park the car directly outside our room. Very dog friendly hotel, bar has a good selection of beers and wines,food was excellent. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again. "

"We loved the little window in our rooftop room and food was generous portions, fresh and well presented. All staff were chatty and helpful. The windows of parts of building could do with up dating but didnt effect our stay. We would happily return ."

"Lovely old building with some beautiful original features. The rooms we had were extremely spacious and the beds were very comfortable, I certainly had a great night sleep! Breakfast was superb, a great varied menu and happy to make changes to suit. One big bonus was the enclosed garden which was great for the dogs. Sue and the staff we met were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. We’ll definitely be back!"
