"The property itself is very nice. The room was clean and nicely set up. However, the owners could be more helpful. I arrived at 2:15 pm, exhausted, after 37 hours of traveling. I asked if it was possible that our room was available. I was told in no uncertain terms that check in was not until 4 pm. I then advised the owner of my exhaustion and asked if we could wait on the loungers by the pool, which were completely empty. I was then told that there would be a 20 Euro fee for this. I...

"Excelente estancia. Las habitaciones están decoradas con mucho gusto, tienen aire acondicionado y camas muy cómodas. Disfrutamos mucho de la piscina tras un día caluroso, y el desayuno fue todo un acierto: pan, queso fresco, mermeladas y unas gallettes francesas deliciosas que servían rellenas de fruta fresca cortada. Los anfitriones, fueron muy atentos y amables en todo momento"

"We stayed here for 4 nights and would have been happy to stay longer—-I miss it already! The room was spacious and well appointed and the air conditioning was spectacular in the August heat. The pool area was beautiful and the pool itself was warm and well kept. There are several great restaurants (Le Julien, La Maison D’estournel, Bistro Des Vignes) within a short drive (5-15 minutes) but note that you will need a car to get to any of them. It is also a great jumping off point to the wineries...

"Very authentic chateau experience. The host Pascal so welcoming and helping us book restaurants, wine tours and more. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a pleasant stay and everything he recommended us to do with kids was a huge success! The chateau looks amazing. Recently renovated, but still furnished with authentic furniture. We will go back to chateau Senejac for sure. Did I forget to mention that they produce an amazing wine? Great place to stay."
