"They told us up front there was no A/C, but we figured, 70 and raining would be fine. Well was 79 and sunny, and with only one tiny window that only opened 2 inches, the place was like sweatbox. The upside, is that the staff were wonderful! The restaurant next door has a great pub, and excellent fish and chips!"

"The room was spotless, warm and spacious. We opted for Deluxe room which was situated in the annexed building on ground level. The staff were extremely welcoming. Breakfast was plentiful. Plenty of storage and coat/clothes hanging space. Being in a rural spot, we found it very peaceful. A large car park is sited just across the road, which links Perth and nearby Glenfarg. The manager and chef provided recommendations for places to visit by car. We enjoyed our stay here, part of a longer touring...

"Absolutely fantastic stay. West Plean is a beautiful property in a lovely rural location but only 10 minutes from Stirling City Centre. Our room was lovely, the bed was super comfortable, and we had everything we needed in the room, which was replenished each day. "We stayed at the Scone Arms for one night and had a very comfortable stay. The hotel was spotless, our bedroom was spacious, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and they even made us a lovely vegan English breakfast, which we really appreciated. We didn’t have time to explore Perth on this visit, but we’d happily stay at this hotel again when we return in the future."
