"Wonderful property with room quality and size equivalent to Gleneges"

"Fabulous well appointed lodge in a gorgeous location , everything you could possibly need for a truly relaxing stay. Buffet Breakfast was plentiful and varied, and the 3 course inclusive dinner menu was fantastic and delicious . Staff were welcoming and very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. A welcome pack was left for us which was a lovely surprise ! A short drive to Gleneagles and Auchterarder , which were delightful and a great base to explore further afield. We will surely return."

"Had a very comfortable stay at Smiddy Haugh. Very clean and comfortable room with nice toiletries in bathroom. Owners were very welcoming and made us aware of all relevant information, I.e. heating, dining, check out, car parking. We had a delicious breakfast and would certainly recommend and visit again."

"Very large, clean and comfortable room. Staff were outgoing and attentive to any of our needs. I was hoping for a more authentic castle experience, but furnishings were basic and a bit worn out. The restaurant service was slow due to under-staffing, but the staff were all friendly and engaging and the food was good. Overall, a comfortable stay, but don't expect much of an experience."

"Nice relaxing stay, if booking through 3rd party be careful of room designation offered we nearly fell foul of that as originally not as shown on booking and upon confirming with hotel found an error as hotel had put us in room 1/2 size at highest point in hotel best to book direct imo. For disabled requirements a bit misleading as there are none. Staff helpful and some EV charging available not shown on website."

"Apex is a beautiful hotel with some of the best people in hospitality. They ensured that our experience was wonderful. In particular we travelled a distance but got there early. The Front Desk receptionist was, nevertheless, able to get us in a room. It was so appreciated! And the experience only got better. I highly recommend."

"It is a wonderful, small hotel! Clean, comfortable, updated rooms with everything you need. Breakfast is included, providing lots of choices, and it is very, very good. It is on the main road, so easy to get to by bus or car and has parking if you need it. June, the owner, is very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Plus she has an awesome sense of humour! I enjoyed my stay very much and I would highly recommend it!"

"This was for me, a typical pub with rooms in an adjoins building. Access to the bedroom block was secure which was comforting and the room while much the same as similar properties was adequate. We chose continental breakfast for both mornings which was fine. The two one course evening meals were satisfying and the staff pleasant."

"Had a brilliant time with my husband and absolutely loved seeing the newly renovated Crieff Hydro, it’s absolutely beautiful. We were there child-free celebrating our 10-year anniversary, so it felt extra special. The meals and breakfasts were outstanding and really made the stay even more enjoyable. Our only frustrating moment was when we tried to have a drink in the adult bar. Unfortunately, there appeared to be only one member of staff on. We sat down for around 15 minutes without any...
