We love going to the Monarch Casino for a quick night of fun. The rooms are so nice and quiet, we don’t have to leave to have good dining options. The Chop House is amazing and the buffet is pretty good for a buffet. The heated pool and hot tub are perfect to give you a break from gambling and usually not busy. We play the $15 black jack tables and have a great time every time. We definitely are looking forward to going back.

Enjoyed my stay overall, however, I was disgusted by the cleanliness of the shower. Fresh linens and toiletries were placed inside, yet there was someone’s long wet hair all over the floor! Gross, and not thoroughly cleaned. Left me questioning the sanitation of the rest of the room honestly…

The ac in the our room didn't work at all, we complained several times but they only worked on it and didn't switch us rooms. The staff was very rude.

While the hotel is wonderful the restaurants on premise need improvement. The Mariposa food was sub par at best. The 24/7, I believe it was called, haad delicious food but we waited forever to even order then another hour for food to come.

The hotel has state of the art technology. The decor of the hotel is very modern. The room was very nice and clean. I didn't like that the pool area closed at 10pm.

Loved it. Unfortunately we were there when the power went out so we were at the video game and had to wait over an hour to get our money out of the machine. Wasted valuable time for our evening.

We are so impressed with the Monarch Hotel. Parking, and check in were convenient and easily located. We were in awe over the security to get into the elevator and other floors. The entire facility was clean and staff members were all kind. We ate at the Mariposa and the Buffet. The Buffet was full of wonderful, tasty items and is highly recommended. While we enjoyed our meal at the Mariposa, we felt like we could’ve enjoyed both meals at the buffet for the same price. We can’t wait to come back and stay at the Monarch once again.

Great stay. Clean, modern property with nice rooms. The casino side was fun and had plenty of options. We only had one issue and that was our remote controller batteries were dead so we couldnt turn the tv off to go to bed (could not reach tv buttons due to how it was mounted). My husband went to front desk to ask for new batteries/some sort of solution and multiple people told him where to go to buy his own batteries or that someone would come help in the morning. It was a little annoying considering we were there for one night only and nobody seemed very concerned with our issue. After like 10 minutes of messing with remote/trying to use batteries from our own toothbrushes and stuff we finally got the tv off. 10 minutes after that someone showed up to help but we were all set. Would still stay again but we thought the response to this issue could have been much better.

We enjoyed staying at the Monarch - it was the perfect place to watch the Kentucky Derby and the Denver Nuggets (even though they lost) in the Sportsbook Lounge! We got there early with friends so we were fortunate to have a comfortable seat and enjoy the excitement with so many people! Dining options are awesome. We really enjoy Bistro Mariposa (Char-Broiled Carne Asada and Salmon Con Tostones) but this time we opted for Twenty Four 7 (Black AngusPrime Rib and Berry Salad with Chicken). Our Server, Ash, was awesome - so professional, friendly and fun! The slots were friendly to us this time - thank you! We stayed overnight and this was the CLEANEST room we have ever experienced in all our travels. It was very clean - once again, thank you! We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast at Twenty Four 7 in the morning before traveling back home. An awesome fun weekend getaway with friends - thank you!

The manager of the 24×7 restaurant was named Cary and he is one of the best restaurant managers of ever met. He is extremely personable and Profesional. He made our dining experience there a step above. Thank you Cary! The slots were a little tight but the overall stay at the Monarch was very enjoyable and i recommend it as the casino to stay at when you can get a chance to get to black hawk/ central city.

I booked this stay for the amenities, mainly the spa and rooftop hot tub but when i got there, it was lightly snowing and the hot tub was closed due to a light snow storm. I was shocked as multiple friends of mine have enjoyed the hot tub while it was snowing and they all recommended it. The roofing bar was also closed so there was nowhere to enjoy the awesome views, except for the indoor pool area that was swarming with small children. I also was not notified until i arrived that the spa amenities are only available Monday thru Thursday, unless you book a massage or facial, which was not possible because everything was booked up. I payed almost $700 just for 2 nights and didn't get to enjoy any of the main attractions for this property. I do not recommended this property.

I want to apologize that you were unable to access the hotel tubs and fire pits on the balcony. We strive to ensure every amenity is operational and on occasion we have to close those due to weather and for our guests safety. Our spa does fill up fast with appointments and because they are at full capacity on the weekends it is unavailable for us to offer day passes. We do hope you give us another opportunity and you have the ability to enjoy the many amenities we offer. Your resort fees have been refunded for the inconvenience of not being able to utilize our amenities during this stay.
