"Room was basic but very clean and comfortable. Reception attendant welcoming and helpful. Great for the price. A little noisy when guests arrived but our room was very nearby so a bit unavoidable."

"Martin was very helpful, welcoming, polite, friendly and jolly!!! Amazing welcome. The room was clean and was pleasantly surprised that there was hand soap, a couple of toilet rolls not just 1, shower gel, microwave, extra heater and mini fridge along with more!"

"I have often stayed at this hotel when travelling for business in the area and it never disappoints. The service, staff, ambience, excellent food and easy car parking, makes it a must stay. Always a genuine welcome and the pwners / staff happy to chat whilst you're there. Fantastic breakfast and a great dinner menu, congrats to the chef for thier consistent wonderful, tasty food."

"Very nice overall. The property is clean, tidy, nicely designed and in a good location. One thing to bear in mind is the building is quite tall and narrow, with fairly steep stairs, which my elderly parents had a bit of trouble with. From what I recall, there wasn't an indication when booking of which floor we would be on. I think this would be helpful. We might have picked a different room. Other than that, a very nice stay."
