"The property stated that there was a reception open from 7am-9pm. There is not. They were supposed to send me a message with the code for the key box. They did not. The security there were very kind in helping us contact them as the number on the site was wrong. There was no power the night we stayed there. "We had bats living in our roof, apparently knowingly by the owner (they built a house for them on the near cabin and they migrated to ours). We had to go to bed and sleep with constraint scratching and sliding noises, that was terrible. When we brought it to the attention of the team, they didn’t even bother apologising. The dinning experience over dinner and breakfast was terrible - worst service I’ve seen for a while and average food (it’s quite expensive considering its surroundings). Stay...

"This was part of trip where we had a longer stay of 3 nights we really enjoyed it here the hotel had a lot of character, rooms were nice not huge but had all that you needed. It was a good location for very good nearby restaurants, and a nice but busy beach within walking distance, also boat trips within walking distance. The food was amazing very large portions. Anything you need the staff will help with bookings for boat trips and restaurants. Very enjoyable stay. "

"In general the hotel is very run down. Things falling apart and dysfunctional, including pool area and umbrellas and gardens. The resort is in desperate need of serious maintenance. Also, no wi fi in rooms for a 4 star hotel is not really acceptable. Poor conditions somewhat compensated for by the first class and much appreciated service from Petrus and some of his staff -especially chef and Thabisa."
