Exterior pet spaces great but no pets in restaurant maybe mak breakfast room into an area for people and pets instead of leaving them to bark in rooms other than that a super place to stay

Overall a pleasant stay. First night arriving after a long drive told that today the restaurant is close and struggling to get something to eat in the surroundings. Second night dinner at the hotel was excellent.
We loved the chateau but did not like the accommodation for our 14 and 16 year old grandchildren. The beds were tiny. We also were very disappointed that the restaurant was closed on the Monday night, the only night we were there. But the chateau is absolutely beautiful.

Overall the hotel was fine and a very unique stay but the heating was like a tap running all night and did little to heat the large room. It could have been cleaner but it did meet basic standards. No facilities to make drinks in room. The evening meal was nice as was breakfast. The views are amazing, we didn’t use the spa so can’t comment.
Returned to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary just for one night. Although rooms are quite basic in decoration, the chateau is incredible and the dinner was exceptional. We loved it and will definitely return again.
What a lovely place! The staff was most charming and the restaurant is top notch. Food arrived looking like a piece of art on a plte and tasted heavenly. Highly recommended for couples and families alike!
This is a lovely chateau with traditional décor. Our room was large and comfortable with lovely views across the countryside. Our dinner in their restaurant was excellent. The only slight negative was our WiFi was intermittent and kept dropping out.
What a wonderful place Hotel Château de la Côte is, truly magical and fairytale.
The food is an absolute must during your stay! The reception and service is fabulous from the Guillaume family. The pool is an oasis on a hot summers day. We stayed in room 23 which is the turret without a roof and gave us access to outside space - we’d always wanted to stay in a Château and in a turret and this did not disappoint.
I wasn’t told until arriving that the restaurant was closed. The nearest alternative was 15 minutes drive. The bar closed at 8 pm when all the staff (1) went home.
A beautiful venue but I won’t go back until they get their act together.

Nice not Luxury
impressive hotel in beautiful countryside, but not luxury and the bathrooms (and furnishings) are in need of updating. Example is shower head on flexible pipe half way up body on the wall in bath tub and no curtain or glass screen. Our room (12) was big and spacious and nice bed. Food in the hotel was very expensive (30-60 Euros for dinner per person), and breakfast at 15EU per person for a cold typical French bread and jam and cold meat)... very nice staff.

Good, but not amazing
The property was stunning with beautiful rural views and a lovely courtyard. There was lots of parking and the property was very lovely to walk around and explore. It was close to lots of cute little towns and areas to visit.
Our room was not as shown in pictures of selected room type but the room was clean and generally furnished to match the overall vibe of the hotel. We did not get enough towels for everyone in our party and the quality of the ones we received left something to be desired. The bathroom did not have a shower, just a bathtub. This was not an issue for us, but worth mentioning.
We dined at the restaurant and were underwhelmed. The service staff seemed stressed and lacking in experience for our expectations considering the price point. Wine recommendations could not be made and the server was not able to open a bottle of wine. There seemed to be an overall lack of staff oversight. We ordered cocktails upon arriving in the lounge and had to simplify our orders, despite the drinks being listed in the menu, to accommodate the bartender. The food was good, but I'm not sure that it was worth the money spent.
We had a similar experience with breakfast and the service staff. It was crowded, over priced and underwhelming. We would have picked up items in town for breakfast, but there was no fridge in the room and we were traveling with a young child.
Overall, our stay was good but I wouldn't dine in the restaurant or get the breakfast. Definitely unique!
