Really nice staff, we wanted some boiling water to make a cup of tea as no kettle in the rooms and the nice lady gave us two flasks and filled them for us to use. The room was basic but the bed was comfy, could do with an extra pillow as very low, if you skip room cleaning you get a bottle of water and feel like you are helping etc, I’d stay here again, we were moved to this hotel from the Berlin gates branch due to operational issues so the free breakfast wasn’t showing but the staff sorted it out.

Bei meiner Ankunft gegen 22:00 Uhr erklärte man mir, dass ich umquartiert werden würde, da das Hotel am übernächsten Tag schließen und den Betrieb einstellen würde. Vorab habe ich keinerlei Information über den Hotel -Wechsel erhalten, wurde dann in ein anderes Hotel der Novum–Gruppe umquartiert, leider eine ziemliche Kaschemme… Beschwerde bei www.hotels.com läuft aktuell…

Schlechter geht es nicht ein Wochenende in Berlin
Bloß nicht dieses Hotel buchen! Schauen sie sich die Bilder von unserem Bad an. Das Fenster ist bestimmt vor 30 Jahren das letzte Mal gestrichen worden. Zentral in Charlottenburg, kurze Wege zu S-Bahn und U- Bahn, sauber, freundliches Personal, günstiges Frühstück, grosses Zimmer Savignyplatz und Kudamm um die Ecke, aber: kein Kühlschrank im Zimmer, Steckdosen ungünstig platziert, keine Schlüsselkarten, sondern Schlüssel mit Anhänger.

Loved the location. Quick walk to the U2 subway line. Wide variety of great restaurants within a few blocks of the hotel. Rooms have a physical key on a large keychain but leaving it at the front desk as we went out was not an issue. Room was dated, but the bathroom looked newly renovated.

Ingen aircon og ingen parkering på første dagen. Derudover er prisen for parkering 28 euro, trods der på hjemmesiden står 18 euro. Der er heldigvis gratis parkering 10 min gåafstand væk. Men dårlig stil at prisen bliver opjusteret.

Super für einen Städtetrip
Die Begrüßung an der Rezeption war super kompetent und freundlich. Das Zimmer sehr sauber aber etwas alt, was aber nicht schlimm ist. Das Frühstück war einfach aber ausreichend und gut. Die Lage in Charlottenburg war super. Für den Absacker abends gibt es keine Bar, nur einen Getränkeautomat. Für eine Städtereise ist das Hotel super geeignet. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis ist ok für die Lage, eher etwas hoch.

Overall stay was good. Locations and neighborhood are wonderful. Easy access to S Line that allowed us to be in Mitte within 15 min ride. I wish it was bit cleaner.

Unteres Mittelmaß
Echt in die Jahre gekommen und sehr verwinkelt - dafür aber ein stolzer Preis. In meinem Zimmer war das Bett extrem durchgelegen, viele Fliesen im Bad beschädigt, das Wasser in der Wanne/Dusche floß nicht mehr richtig ab. Das Frühstück habe ich in deutlich günstigeren Hotels auch schon viel viel besser erlebt.

Gutes Hotel in schöner Lage
Schöne Lage mit Häusern mit Günderzeit-Fassaden (auch in den Nebenstraßen) zwischen Savignyplatz und Ernst-Reuter-Platz in Charlottenburg. In der Umgebung sind tolle Restaurants aus aller Welt. Ich hatte ein ruhiges, geräumiges Zimmer mit kleinem, aber gutem Bett. Dazu Safe, Tee-und Kaffekocher und Vorhänge zum Verdunkeln. Das Fenster ging zum Innenhof. Ein Kühlschrank würde meiner Meinung nach das Zimmer perfekt machen und die Dusche könnte etwas Wasser-Druck vertragen. Das Frühstück war jedenfalls prima und der Service auch. Kann man empfehlen, auch wenn ich den Preis ein wenig hoch fand. das Haus scheint beliebt und gut genutzt, es war immer was los in der Lobby.

Bien situado y cómodo
Muy bien situado, zona tranquila, fácil aparcamiento. La habitación muy bien,amplia, con 5 camas para poder estar con mis hijos. Hacía mucha calor y la habitación no tenía aire acondicionado, se hizo la noche muy larga. Pero todo lo demás muy bien, lavabos muy limpios y toallas muy blancas.

Large, clean room and friendly staff. U bahn station 5 minutes walk away. Tiergarten, zoo and ku'damm easily walkable. Street is generally quiet but can be noisy in the morning with deliveries.

Stanza sporca, piena di ragnatele in ogni angolo, non tolte nemmeno dopo le (asserite) pulizie mattutine. Stanza priva di aria condizionata e di zanzariere alle finestre e quindi piena di zanzare...!!!!! Al nostro arrivo (primo pomeriggio), la stanza era completamente priva di asciugamani. Nessun cambio lenzuola in una settimana.. Personale della reception sgarbato e supponente (a parte quello addetto alla sala colazione.. invece cordiale e disponibile). Nonostante la prenotazione fosse con "colazione inclusa" come da noi richiesto, pagato e come dimostravamo con la e-mail di conferma inviataci da Expedia, il suddetto personale non sentiva ragioni e senza contattare Expedia, ci negava il servizio ed al nostro relativo consequenziale "garbato disappunto", rispondeva con un volutamente mal celato sorrisino di scherno!! (Problema risolto solo il terzo giorno e solo dopo nostra segnalazione a Expedia...). Doccia con perdite che allagavano il bagno dopo il suo utilizzo. Asciugamani per la doccia piccolissimi e di qualità scarsissima.. Recipienti per il detergente doccia e per le mani non rabboccati prima del nostro arrivo.. terminato dopo due giorni e non più riforniti.. Unica nota positiva, la vicinanza alle fermate dei trasporti pubblici.. In definitiva: scarso!

Terrible experience. It says available parking. We traveled 80 miles / hours and when got there, no parking. Thanks! 33+ degrees and no ac or fan? Is this real life 2023? Terrible breakfast.

The hotel offers breakfast included booking, but at the next morning the surprise is that it is not included, and you nust pay 12€ per guest. So if you want to pay that night and look for other hotels, forget it .. they don't accept it and they advice you thatyou can leave the hotel but you must pay for the whole period you booked for. The first two nights we receive the 009 room, avoid it !! Ground floor, ridiculously small, old mattress that pushes you out of the bed, no air-conditioning, no fan .. and Berlin at 31°C in August. Its fair to say that the room seams clean when you arrive, but during our five nights stay (the lastt hree we received a better and bigger third floor room .. with fan!), the rooms were not cleaned, only a towel change if you let them in the floor. So would I recommend a try in the Novum Hotel Gates Berlin? .. absolutely not!!!

Das Hotel ist familienfreundlich mit einem Angebot an großen Zimmern. Es ist sehr gut gelegen, in KuDamm-Nähe, nur wenige Gehminuten von S- und U-Bahn entfernt und gleichzeitig in der Nähe schöner Spielplätze. Das Personal ist überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das ansprechende Frühstück mit gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und auch praktisch mit mehreren Kindern. Die Einrichtung ist schon etwas angestaubt und es könnte auch noch sauberer sein, aber nicht dramatisch im Verhältnis zu den positiven Aspekten des Aufenthaltes.
