"If there was a more convenient shuttle bus arrangement to the main slopes in Niseko (Grand Hirafu welcome center) then this would be an easy 5 stars all around. Staff and facilities were excellent but dragged down by how difficult it was to get to and from the hotel and the slopes. Mornings were okay as could get a shuttle to Annupuri and then ski across but getting home was an ordeal. We ended up spending $250 across the week on taxis as we couldn’t hack spending 1 hour+ on public transport for a 15 minute drive. If you have a car then this is a great spot, but skiing in the main part of Niesko with public transport only, would not recommence "

"About 1 block to the lift in Annupori! Amazing family run place! More laid back and quiet than the larger resorts. Shared bathrooms and showeres. On site coin laundry. Great value! "

"Wonderful hotel with excellent, large well provisioned rooms. TVs connected to streaming services. True ski-in and out via magic carpet; helpful ski valet. Nice onsen, although indoor and smaller it was very private and not crowded. No convenience store on site to purchase basics but able to get drinks and make purchases at the bar. "

"Staff is amazing. Food was fantastic and fresh. Everywhere was clean. I added a 90 min massage and would do again. Onsen was beautiful and peaceful. I will be booking here again. "

"The hotel is dated; however, the outdoor onsen is a great experience. Mr. Y. Onimaru at the Front Desk was very friendly and provided excellence customer services during our stay. The breakfast is a combination of Japanese and western style. It is very yummy. Our original booking was a traditional Japanese room but found out there is no shower/bathing area inside the room which was unexpected. Ms. Sato at the Front Desk helped and moved us to a Japanese/Western room the next day so we had our own shower area and were able to experience sleeping on the tatami. The hotel provides shuttle services to 3 different ski resorts; however, the schedule to and back from Hirafu is very limited (even during peak season). They should consider providing shuttle services the same schedule as going to Annipuli during peak season. Need to take a taxi from Niseko Village back after dinner. It costs USD $40-50 each time. May stay again because of the onsen and breakfast."
