We booked this hotel for a family holiday through Expedia, however when we arrived the booking had been cancelled, Expedia were unable to sort the problem despite having our money for the 7 months previous.

Le personnel à la réception très gentil et accueillant par contre les femmes de ménages ne sont pas aimables du tout voir agressives parfois. J’ai été mis à la porte par les femmes de ménages le jour de mon départ et j’ai dû sortir mes bagages dans le couloir le temps de mon départ c’est la première fois que ce genre d’incident m’arrive . C’est décevant!!! Par contre la piscine au top

Le personnel à la réception est très accueillant. La piscine est super. Par contre les femmes de ménages ne sont pas aimables du tout , elles nous ont mis à la porte le jour du départ sans rien vouloir savoir on a du vider la chambre et poser nos valises dans le hall

Nice location and comfortable stay

The general look and feel was not very rich but apartments were clean and comfortable. All was good except that parking was an issue. Though we were able to find parking all 5 days within 200 m. Also the slides in swimming pool were restricted from 4-7 PM. We like the place and recommend to others.

Good property for the money paid. Close to the beach and paloma Park. Select staff were very helpful. The complex could benefit, from better amenities within the complex ie a bar, small shop, and clothes washing facilities. Future booking should include, optional booking of the gym facilities.

Apartment excellent standard of comfort and cleanliness. Very peaceful. Sofabed a new experience from bed/bedroom so comfortable. Will be booking again with Select😁😁

Good stay

Excellent weather, room had everything we needed. No sea view from our balcony (wasn't an option to my knowledge though). Despite it being end of oct, still plenty bars and restaurants around the hotel open.

Had a lovely stay, apartments had everything you need with a good size balcony. Only downside was youd to pay to use the sunbeds at the pool & chickens & roosters were freely roaming the pool area. Would stay again tho for a short visit

Brilliant

Excellent hotel in a fantastic position. Absolutely ideal for families as it has water slides. Lots of bars and restaurants around and very close to Paloma park and Selwo Marina.

Very pleased with my stay at Select Benal Beach. CLC reception staff very helpful and friendly. Apartment clean and tidy. Facilities good with pool, supermarket etc. Would happily stay again.

The aparthotel complex was in a great location right across the road from Parque de la Paloma and just 2 mins. to beach and about 15 mins. from Arroyo de la Miel town centre and train station. Bus stops very nearby. The aparthotel grounds were gorgeous with grassy areas and a huge complex of swimming pools. Loved it that some of the pretty chickens from the park would walk through the grounds! My apartment was on the ground floor, but it was very quiet and I felt safe. The apartment was clean and comfortable with all the facilities I could need, including small hob and microwave, all kitchen utensils, hairdryer, TV, air-con/heating in lounge and bedroom, and safe (which you pay 10 Euros to use). Also washing machine in the bathroom. Plenty of towels. Apartment cleaned twice during my 12 night stay, which was adequate for me. Hotel complex is a very clean and has some lovely indoor fountains. It's a 4 building complex and it's a bit of a maze inside, but you find your way around after a couple of days. Useful shop on basement level. Staff great at 24 hour reception desk and CLC World staff Francisco and David who checked me in and out were fabulous, really friendly and efficient. Altogether, I really enjoyed my stay a Select Benal Beach and I hope to come back again!

Second time in 4 months lovely studio with everything you need and spotless its a place that both my wife and I can trust nice people to deal with at CLC reception and very helpful very close to beach bus and train stops etc and about 15 minutes from Malaga airport excellent experience many thanks to all staff including house keeping staff that never seem to stop cleaning

A perfect week

An amazing week! The apartment was first class, comfortable, well equipped, first class cleaning standards, super views, quiet and private. Convenient for local transport, supermarket, eating out, taxis, local park, excellent beaches, well kept, supervised sunbeds etc. Arroyo a pleasant walk through park and uphill - for shops, eating places, railway station (excellent service to all places including airport service directly into airport). Good and enjoyable walk along "the front" to Marina - shops, bars, eating places. Benal Beach is a large complex - well kept. "Select" reception (9-5) welcoming and helpful for all your needs. Main reception of BB helpful too. Lifts convenient to all floors. Weather was perfect too. We would go again!

Location was very good. The staff were Vert friendly and helpful. There was nothing I did not like except that I requested a double bed but was provided with two singles

Bed was so hard. Needs upgrading. No welcome pack. No sun on balcony all day, there must have been apartments free that did have to promote the first time travellers to this hotel?

Nice location and reasonable cost. Property is a bit dated though fairly well taken care of. I realize we were there in off season but I think some improvements to the fountains are needed.

Well equipped apartments. Very clean when we arrived. Reception was very friendly and helpful. Downside - Beds were very hard. Only one English channel on the TV.
