"This property is in bad need of an update. The carpets are worn. The walls are damaged and dirty. The bathroom in our room had numerous odors emitting from it at different times of the day - something skunky, something sewer-like and just plain mildew. The floor was worn and waterlogged. "Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet well organised - cooked, cereal, toast, pastries, yoghurt etc. Accessible bedroom very spacious and bathroom had all the useful handrails you would expect. Small slope up to bathroom which some may find more challenging. Beds on the higher side. Very clean room. No aircon, but a fan was provided and window partly opened. Parking not ideal. "First time back in many years after I used to stay there for work. Don’t remember quite so many pillows on the bed back then but if all else fails your can sleep sideways 😉. Only real gripe is that breakfast is £15! Coffee and a bacon butty was half the price and to be fair it was freshly made and very nice 😊"
