"Comfortable room with amazing bathroom."

"The room was so tiny we could not walk comfortably around the bed and there was no room to put luggage. The bedside needs a table on each side with reading lamp… there was none. Parking was awful…cars squeezed anywhere they could. Breakfast was nice and bathrooms were updated but tiny. Room was so close to parked cars it was noisy."

"The Mecure is a walkable distance from the train station, and from its front doors and front rooms one can look right down a main avenue to the Esplanade and the Firth of Clyde. The staff was excellent, helpful, and friendly. Breakfast had a wide choice of buffet items. I also had supper two evenings in the hotel, and the wait staff plus food were very good. The items for vegetarians were fine, but not much was available for vegans. Because of my knee and hip surgeries, I had to ask to change rooms to have a walk-in shower. Do note, if you cannot climb into a tall-sided and narrow bathtub, you need to ask for a room with a walk-in shower. They made the change of rooms for me."

"The room was amazing and so comfortable, the staff were lovely and couldn't have done anymore to make our stay special. The food was phenomenal and after seeing the prices we will definitely be planning on visiting more often with our family. Cannot wait to see the renovation but hope the same feeling stays about the place as it is such a special venue for us as a family. We got married there and love the old Scottish feel about the place. "
