We’re 76 and 71 years old. The property, while nice, does not have a lift. Very difficult for us to schlep our suitcases up three flights of stairs.
It’s a “contactless” hotel, which worked out fine. No issues with access.
The restaurant in front of the property, while not part of the hotel, was very nice and offered a discount to hotel guests.
Had to request bath towels as they didn’t leave any and when I requested some I got told we didn’t need bath towels as we didn’t have a bath in our room we had a shower !!!!!
No bedding for the sofa bed as we didn’t request any!!
The hotel is really comfortable and clean and very modern, also attached is a brilliant restaurant. I would highly recommend the hotel to anybody staying in ayr
Fantastic ambiance and cozy feel to this hidden gem!
Clean and updated rooms, location was perfect! Golfed all day at Prestwick Golf Club, then 15 minute drive to Hotel.
Excellent lunch / dinner spot around the corner called the Tudor~ Homecooking at its best!
Best Fish & chips, Lasagna and Cottage Pie!
My wife and I visited and stayed 2 nights the room was great, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The access in and out of the hotel was easy and the coded entry made life easier than having to deal with room keys. We ate locally and the easy access to so many restaurants and bars was great.
This is a hotel that is staffless, and has no front check in desk. It totally relies on technology for checking in and out, and that is a problem in an area with weak Wi-Fi. I would not stay again. We had a problem when we arrived with not having sheets, pillows, and blankets on a pull out bed gor my granddaughter and it took several hours of trying to contact a live person to get them to come to the "hotel", and fix the issue. Although their advertising says someone can assist you daily until 10pm by phone, we started calling at 4pm with no luck. We had to call their emergency number to get help. Also be aware there is no elevator or any accessibility accommodations on this property.
