had a 23-hour layover chose this as a hotel because it was cheap surprisingly very good clean tiny little things like the wardrobe was a bit battered from usage but on the whole a very great hotel staff friendly the restaurant was fantastic some of the best stuff I've ever had and very reasonably priced

The staff were really helpful and also spoke English - it was a welcome relief not having to speak to a translation app. The hotel is conveniently located close to the airport. A taxi cost Yuan 20 (I did not use the shuttle service as it was too difficult to book this in advance while I was travelling). I did, however, use the free shuttle for my return to the airport which was clearly explained and very handy. The hotel allowed me to check in early which was great. The room was large, clean and contained everything I needed for this short stay. I would definitely book the Ramada again if I have a flight out of Beijing Capital which requires a short overnight stop.

Staff are very helpful, especially the driver for the airport shuttle. Airport shuttle was great - we had to leave at 4:45am and they were able to accommodate an early morning shuttle.

We stayed for a few hours only as we had a long layover (7 hours) in Beijing. The hotel was good for us to have a shower and have a quick nap. The rooms are a good size but are very dated and need refurbishment- bathroom especially. The biggest issue for our family was the lack of useful internet. Whilst there is WiFi, the restrictions on what you can do and apps that you can / can’t access is problematic. We used the shuttle to get from the airport to the hotel and back again. This worked out fine and we found out where to meet the shuttle bus on the driveway of the arrivals hall about 36 hours before we arrived.

Honestly, that might be the nicest Ramada there is - and decently priced! Yet, the staff - even including restaurant/bar staff - went above and beyond. I have an American number - unable to get local SIM cards, as my phone is blocked - and food apps don't permit non-Chinese numbers. Even so, the staff ordered for me on THEIR apps. And while I gave them a tip for doing so, they didn't have to do that for me - yet did.. I would DEFINITELY recommend Ramada by Wyndham Beijing Capital Airport Hotel!

This hotel has its own positives and negatives. I'll start with positives: the staff are great! I showed up at 9 o'clock in the morning, and their offered me an early check-in at no charge, which was really nice. Ladies at the reception actually speak decent English, which is rare in China. The shuttle bus driver is awesome. Overall, the staff are great! Now the negatives: their shuttle bus is a mess. It is not a regular service shuttle, but it was not clear to me at the beginning, which led to some frustration. You must arrange for the ride in advance, otherwise there will be no service. While it is easy if you need a ride from the hotel to the airport, it is much more complicated if you need a ride from the airport to the hotel . I have not scheduled it before because I arrived at a different airport, so the ride from the airport to the hotel was complicated because I did not have a local phone number or Internet. I guess it is not a problem for the locals, but for foreigners it may be a challenge. Second negative: the rooms are tired, and the carpeting needs to be replaced as soon as possible. However, it did not really bother me too much. Overall, my stay was ok, but the staff are super friendly and helpful.
