"This was our favorite overnight stop during our recent trip to Scotland. The location is beautiful, peaceful and quiet and is the perfect place to stay for making day trips to visit all the sights in the Highlands. Our hosts were friendly and made us feel welcome, and our breakfast was perfect -- the best breakfast we had in Scotland. We hope to visit again someday. "

"All went well. My only critique is we had no idea how to get into the house upon arrival, or find the specific house. We were in a foreign country and this was our first house. Having an email sent saying "When you arrive the house looks like this and here is where to find it" would have helped. Also a note saying how to get into the house (We called the owner which took a long time to figure out how to do in a foreign country) and was told house was unlocked and key was inside. The breakfast was just perfect every day, I only tried the full Scottish and it was cooked to perfection. The view of the Loch every morning was stunning. Can't wait to go back."

"Black Friars was an absolutely lovely place to stay, conveniently located away from the busiest streets, but still within walking distance. It was quiet; the staff was great; room was clean. We recommend! Things that may matter to you: there is no elevator, or air conditioning. Recommend the bar scene, and if you're there on a night "Old Fools" plays, don't miss them!"
