"The property is old, but renovated in the rooms and well maintained. Easy access to your vehicle from the room. Nice clean sheets and towels. Seems that there are many permanent residents that seem to sit and smoke on their doorstep. A bit off putting for non smokers."

"No plates, glasses. Burn hole in quilt. No plug in sink, mold smell. Top sheet on sideways. Bedside light disconnects and one red light bulb."

"Everything was great...but...when we decided to call it a night and wanted to watch a bit of TV you scored a big zero. Most hotels have minimum TV selection...but they do give access to a streaming service like Netflix. This hotel did not give us the option. We had to watch the minimum selection. They would have received a perfect score otherwise. Thank you."

"It was a cool room loved the exposed brick and it was spacious and clean. Would have liked some black out curtains and it was disappointing that the body spray in the shower wasn’t working. Otherwise it was a fantastic location to venture downtown. Appreciate that it was pet friendly."

"Fantastic boutique hotel that feels like a quaint historical "all inclusive". The 2 restaurants and pub feature delicious and unique creations served by the friendliest servers I have encountered! Location in downtown Nelson is perfect for exploring on foot. Rooms have been modernized but feel cozy. There is a bar fridge but no microwave oven. One cup coffee maker included. Feels like a home away from home. Love it all!"
