"I had rented this cottage for 5 days 4 nights. I had a few issues. I brought my 82 year old mother for here dream vacation. We entered the cottage and It was clean and very large. The 1st issue was there was no heat! My mother had to keep her coat on the whole time. 2. No internet 3. Not able to watch tv do not having internet. 4. No washing machine. 5. No one way to get a hold of anyone at the property. I sent an email to the property and no response as of 9-22-26. I sent an email to Expedia...

"The self check in was great. That was about all that was. I do realize it is a hostel but I have stayed in plenty and this by far has been the worst. So our front door was just an all glass storm door with a couple curtains just on the inside. We had a room on the back side that would have had a nice area to sit and relax but there were only two tables with about 6 chairs that had to be shared with 4 rooms. The bed felt like I was laying on straw bales and the paperwork I printed that had my...

"Easy to get into the cottage and a cute stay! Great helpful information book for everything you might need."

"Nice lodging close to Loch Ness with an on-site restaurant. Rooms are small and somewhat spartan, but the bed was comfortable and the food was good. A hairdryer was provided, but with UK electric codes not permitting outlets in bathrooms, it was difficult to find a location in the bedroom with a view of a mirror to dry my hair. I wish more UK hotels would consider this oversight!"

"View really lovely, breakfast very fresh. Room nice and had everything you would use. Fresh clean tidy all you need for a stay. Owner did mention he likes a check in earlier rather than an evening one, as he gets up at 4am. So we felt we had to check in first quickly before going out to eat. Lovely House with great views "

"Brilliant accommodations. A totally 5 star experience from our first greeting, through a tour of the first floor with beautiful comfortabe common rooms (fire place lit in the cool evening in one), a very well appointed dining area that served a chef prepared breakfast - my wife and I both ordered the smoked salmon with scrambled eggs - delicious. Close to Inverness, right on Loch Ness, and a few km from highland cows! A total treat - my highest recommendation."

"Awesome stay"

"Lovely hotel in great location with nice restaurant and good breakfast options - recommend"

"Great location, but busy with all of the cruise tours."

"Worked"

TOP!!!"

"Food was fabulous!! The staff was helpful and our was clean."

"A little tricky to check in, but the staff at the cafe next door were able to help us. The room was very cute and comfy! Parking was also convenient for an overnight stay."

"Amazing daily breakfast and very hospitable staff. Beautiful grounds and great location. I would highly recommend staying here."

"Absolutely would recommend this place. Check in information was great and very easy. We were travelling by bike and they let us access the secure bike storage early so we could enjoy the town without worrying about them. The room was spacious and spotless and the shower was brilliant. Hamish from housekeeping was very friendly and kind to our daughter as we were leaving. Breakfast in the cafe downstairs was very nice too. Great view of the canal locks and close to all the amenities of Fort...
