"I would characterise this place as 'old school' - simple, straightforward hospitality and a kind, welcoming host - no gimmicky add-ons to achieve some corporate 'financial yield' per bed-night. It is, also, simply old, but maintained and spotlessly clean. Some creative use of cabling in my room in order to provide sufficient power sockets might cause an eyebrow to be raised, and the lighting might have been less bright than in a more modern space, but for Airbnb prices, an authentic and memorable, in its way, stopover."

"Lovely accommodation in a beautiful area though we were on foot backpacking and unfortunately there was no evening food available so we didn’t eat as it was a walk back into town. Nice area to explore either walking or cycling and was very close to walk to the ferry on Rursee to go on to Rurburg. "
