"Lovely hotel at a reasonable price. Room was large and very clean. Bed comfy although on the soft side. Good WiFi, nice bathroom with good quality toiletries. Excellent breakfast included. A bit of street noise but not bad. Effective curtains. Room could use modernising so that plug sockets are easier to access. Nice staff. Excellent location on main square, 5 minutes walk from railway station with lots of places to eat/drink within 10 minutes walk. Would be very happy to stay here again "

But the hotel was easy to use, easy to find, easy to book, reasonable cost and reasonable facilities. It will never be a 5-Star Hotel, but it doesn't pretend to be either! The hotel is very central within easy reach of the town centre and all the main visitor sites e.g. Menin Gate. The staff are very kind and all speak fluent English.
