"Useful location but very close to the A30. Nice hotel/former coaching Inn with friendly welcome. Plenty of parking. Good breakfast. The good size double room had a kettle with coffee bags, fan, hairdryer, iron and ironing board plus large TV. The mattress was a bit too firm for our comfort though."

"Arrived and checked in quickly. Efficient young chap did all the preliminaries and we headed to our room. Room was in the main building at the front. Large room with plenty of wall lights and lamps as well as spot lights. Lovely sized room and bathroom. Plenty of boiling hot water as soon as the tap was turned. Beds were clean and very comfy. "Booked the suite with my partner for three nights, turned out we had booked gran’s house, very dated, no tv in bedroom even though it’s shown in the pictures. When opening the window the plastic window surround fell off and there was no curtains on the window so people on the car park get full view. "This is a very old characterful property, with low beams etc. Venue was chosen for a small family reunion and everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The staff were all very polite, helpful and patient which adds to the enjoyment. The food was really excellent and thanks to the chef none of our group had any complaints, Definitely recommend."

"The food was excellent - both breakfast and evening meal. Full fresh cooked breakfast included in the cost of the room. Proper Americano coffee served at no extra cost with breakfast! I had a glass of champagne with the evening meal and it was chilled, bubbly and perfect. "
