"We stayed here as a one night stop over on way to Caribbean side. The staff was kind and and friendly. Room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfy. We felt safe and got a good nights rest. Free breakfast was yummy. Would recommend this hotel as a stop over "

"Really wonderful staff. It's an older hotel with a ton of character. Free and secure parking. Nice large rooms with good bathroom and hot water. Breakfast was very nice, a complete & very filling meal. The area is a bit shady with Casino across street, but if you're a savvy traveler it's fine and a good value for all the amenities needed for a quick stay."

"The tricky lady at the front desk tried to charge us twice for the breakfast. Parking place is a nightmare, always closed, dark, alone and you must go out of your car to ask (almost beg) for somebody to walk and open the gate. They offer amenities like a hair dryer. Lie. You must call and wait a long time for it. It was a good expensive hotel. Now its only expensive."

"I’m currently staying at the Hotel Santo Tomas and it’s a total standout. The building was originally built in 1908, and they’ve done an incredible job maintaining that historic character while keeping everything comfortable. Even though you’re right downtown and close to everything, the property feels like a private oasis. Once you step inside, you completely forget you’re in the middle of a busy city. "I stayed there for the second time after a two day trip elsewhere. My first room was good but the second one was even better. Beautiful, well furnished and spotlessly clean. I had dinner in the restaurant and although a little pricey the food was tasty and had an originality about it. The free breakfast was very good and set me up for the day. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this hotel again, it was brilliant. "
