"This a great hotel. Conveniently placed between Glasgow Queen Street or Central Rail Station, about a 15 minute walk. Max and Kelly on Reception were welcoming and friendly. Great room with clean and comfy beds. Great walk-in shower, clean public areas and lifts. You need to use your room key to access the main bedroom , which gives you added security. Breakfast was good, we didn't eat at night because there is a fabulous Indian restaurant right next door. The hotel has a facility to call a taxi via a button on the desk, which was great if you have luggage etc. Taxi took about 5mins to arrive and took us to the station. The hotel is right by the River Clyde and near to the St Enoch Shopping Centre. I would definitely recommend staying here. The staff couldn't do enough to help and were keen to make sure your stay was a good one. Thanks to Max for making us so welcome."

"The breakfast was very good value for money @£15 (April '26). The food was good with plenty of variety. I loved the decor of the hotel. My room was on the 16th floor. I had an amazing view of the River Clyde and the surrounding area. There was a small library on the ground floor with another small sitting room - increasingly unusual. I have stayed in 5 star hotels that did not have this."

"The room I stayed in was clean, the bed was comfy, the room was dark and quiet. It was a disabled room which I hadn't asked for. the bathroom was huge but there was no toilet lid and the wash basin was tiny even though the shower was good. There was no kettle in the room, which was a major disadvantage for me but you can get a drink from the cafe upstairs and bring it back to your room. Not brilliant. The staff were pleasant. The breakfast was ok, but not very warm, although you could get as much as you wanted."
