"The rooms at this hotel were a perfect size. I liked that the bedroom was separate from the rest of the room and it had keys so you could lock it if you left with all your belongings inside of it. Everything seemed brand new. The only thing was I couldn’t figure out how to get hot water in the shower lol the only recommendation I would have would be to put a nightstand in the bedroom as there is nowhere to set anything. Overall, it was an excellent stay, very very clean nice location."

For meals, we could cook right there (the Super Rosvil market is a short walk away) or we could go out to eat - there's Mario's place on the next corner for easy food, or an easy walk to downtown for lots of other options). Not only because of the great location in the rainforest, all the sloths on the property, and great facilities, but mostly because the hosts Giovanni and Luis run the best lodge in the country. "We had a wonderful stay here with our 5 teenage/young adult children. I was skeptical that the views and the rooms were as great as the pictures, but they were even better. We had two villas near each other for 7 people and had plenty of space. The location is private, yet a short Uber drive to La Fortuna. The food at the restaurant was great, though not a huge variety. "We had a lovely three night stay. The view from our hotel room was spectacular. The room we extremely spacious and the AC worked well. We loved the sound of the rain on the roof at night. The pool and hot tub were a hit with our kids and we had several meals at the restaurant that were good. We appreciated that this hotel was away from the busy part of La Fortuna but would recommend this for guests with a vehicle due to the location. "
