"Great spot"

"Great views and clean throughout!"

"Ants in Room & Unusable Adjacent Beach Ants got in our food placed inside kitchen cabinets (& in bathroom) after 1st night. Moved rooms (a hassle). Noticed ants in new room our last night. If bringing food store in airtight containers or in fridge. Main reason we booked this site was the advertised 5 minute walk to the beach. Pictures on the website totally misleading. The beach is mostly rocks & small patches of black sticky sand. We went our 1st day, where my 6 year old got caught in the surf,...

"Property was nice. Noisy next to busy highway. Rooms are spacious."

"Air conditioning was quiet which is not common in most hotels."

"Nice stay. Great kitchen. Newer amenities except for the pool that was being repaired. We toured the zoo, art museum, beaches and old Carlsbad from this location. Found Origins coffee to offer a great cup of coffee. Breakfasts were free so I can’t complain. Thank you for keeping it clean Hilton staff."

"Absolutely wonderful time there. Everything was magnificent and the staff was great also."

"I am 70 years old and I was put in a room so far away from the elevator that it was easier for me to tackle the stairs, which was very hard. I don’t understand this because we were there well before the 3 PM check in. I thought they could’ve put us in a closer room but they said they had no other rooms. They wouldn’t even take my bags to my room for me. The curtains in our room were slashed. It looks like from a knife because the way they looked. I had an ocean view room but I couldn’t see out...

"Staff was helpful and kind bed was comfortable and pillows too. Clean room but had really bad smell in hallway that we kept smelling in our room. I told staff they said they would check it out and try to help. but then it was back the next day not sure what was going on. other than that it was a good stay"

"Love this resort!"

"We went for a one night stay with our children. We booked the hotel because it was close to Legoland and offered a lot of amenities. Our children loved the family pool. They enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit that was located near the hot tub. The view was such a plus during the sunset also."

"Good place for a short stay. The location is ideal. As a solo traveler, I felt safe. Please note that the shampoo/conditioners are at the lobby. It would have been nice if the front desk clerk would have mentioned that at check in."

"When we arrived, our room looked like it had not been cleaned. The trash can still had the previous person's trash still in the trash, including their fried chicken that they had eaten. The cabinets had what looked like Cheetos finger prints on them. The upper corner of the room had a spider web with multiple spiders in it. There were numerous cockroaches in the room as well as ants in the bathroom. When I came back down to tell the front desk about the issues, the person seemed to be bothered...

"Convenient place. Clean , does the job .."
