"We enjoyed our stay at this cosy hotel very much. It is quietly situated but convenient to visit Lincoln and surrounding areas. The staff were friendly and helpful and the restaurant food was excellent. It was lovely to be able to have a good meal with wine and not worry about driving. I would recommend staying there and would be happy to return."

We were given a lovely warm chocolate cookie on arrival and were able to check in by 1.30 pm which was also helpful. The upstairs bar had a small outdoor balcony with great views over the water. The choice at breakfast was excellent if a little cramped when busy as it was a help yourself. Great value stay!"

Slight problem on check in as they had given us a double room instead of a twin, despite sending an email prior to arrival requesting a twin. Staff shortages meant it was a while before the bed situation was sorted but we were in the bar by then so not really an issue. The receptionist was apologetic and keen to resolve the issue so bonus points to her."
