"Our stay was everything that we had hoped for - friendly and helpful staff, excellent room with plenty of space,super outdoor space and lovely hanging flowers. It was a Saturday night and we thought it might be a tad noisy, but having been lively and buzzzing earlier, all was calm and quiet at 11pm and we had a really good night's sleep."

"I've not stayed in a Greene King hotel before (I've plenty of experience of their pubs though!) but it was a nice place to spend a night. The hotel seems fairly newly built and is clean and comfortable.
Pros: the bed had plugs and USB sockets right next to it (I hate hotels that make you plug your phone in on the other side of the room). The staff were friendly and welcoming, and gave us extra towels as soon as we asked. Rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet, which honestly is all you really...
"There is parking behind the waitrose and staff walked us there after their shift had ended to ensure we understood the parking App since tomorrow is the Farmers Market on High Street and we would have to move the vehicle early. Now it’s all sorted and paid in advance. Of course it’s an older hotel and everything is crooked and settled, but you should come here for that eclectic experience, as we did. I just miss the old mural that was painted in the pub before, replaced by a more modern map. "
"One of the best places weve stayed..friendly helpful staff room very clean ..food hot and very good ..find it hard to find fault..outside areas could do with a clean up but that would just be nit picking ..great place great stay highly recomend
