"The rooms are clean, the staff helpful and efficient. The beds were comfy and the location is great. The downside- it is a very old property, the bathtub was peeling, the flat carpet and loose wallpaper may be 20-30+ years old. The porches offer no privacy. Good place if you just need somewhere to sleep and you like the sound of the Pacific railroad trains and elk bugling (we liked this background noise)."

"Great stay for 6 ngt on Annv vacation. Stayed in king suite. Very roomy, bed comfortable, liked the balcony and fireplace. Room attendant did an amazing job every day!! Only and biggest complaint was terrible cheap coffee in the rooms with no coffee available in lobby either. Had to walk to coffee shop every morning. Thankfully I enjoyed cool air and walk, but always nice to enjoy a cup of coffee relaxing in the hotel room before starting the day!!"

"Pros: Location was awesome in the center of everything. Free parking saves you $60/day downtown Banff. Cons: Room was very hot but they insisted the heat was not on, one window could not open properly. Shampoo dispenser broken. Lots of noise from hallways and you can hear next door alarm go off early in the morning."
