"This older home was well maintained and comfy. It was close to the centre of Banbury and down the hill to Banbury Cross and the statue of the lady on the horse. Breakfast is included and there is a wide range of cold or hot meal options; there is a kettle in the room with tea bag’s and coffee packs with sugar and UHT milk made it easy to have a hot drink in your room early morning or in the evening. "Simple room with comfortable bed, no air conditioning but our nights cooled down. The rooms are above a pub that often stayed busy till @ 11pm. For us, the noise never bothered us. Wasn't too fond of the smokers, but we delt with it. It was wonderful to have a pub below, we could wander down in the evening for a nightcap, play some cards, or grab a dessert. "We stayed up on the first floor. Lovely old building with creaky stairs. Rooms were well equipped and comfortable. Bit of an issue with the water pipes which were very noisy (sounded like air in pipes). Had fans in rooms which were needed. Great choices for a cooked breakfast, which was cooked to perfection. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again."

Hot tub was set up ready for arrival. Fishing wasn’t too bad, no big fish but plenty of small stuff to keep busy if you can find a non weedy spot."
