"The family rooms more like an apartment were excellent. Everything you needed in the room including dvds for the kids. The host was brilliant and locals in the bar were welcoming. The location and setting lovely. Would recommend to stopping here"

"Check in was advertised at 3.00pm, arrived at 4.50pm but room was not available & hadn't been cleaned as the cleaner didn't turn up? Menu was reduced as the chef didn't turn up either and no toilet rolls in the bathroom. I gave my breakfast order the night before but it was not passed onto the cover chef in the morning, so in all not a great experience but...would I stay there again...definitely yes. "Room only so didn’t try the restaurant but lovely public areas with beautiful floral decorations ready for Halloween. Didn’t try the leisure facilities there was an extra £10 charge which was disappointing. Staff extremely welcoming and happy to provide ideas for local eateries which are plentiful within 5 minute stroll of hotel. Beautiful city to explore "
