"Stayed just for 1 night having stayed the same time last year. Staff were superb, friendly and welcoming, they acknowledged they remembered us! We noticed the small touches like the amenity kit in the room containing toothpaste, razor etc etc - just about anything you'd have forgotten! Lovely big bed, everything felt clean and loved in what's clearly an older property. Breakfast was continental, seems more choice with mini pastries added alongside cereals, breads for toasting, fruit, yoghurt,...

The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent, things that not all places we have stayed get right. We used it as a stop off on our trip to photograph the mountains and surrounding areas, this was the perfect stop off for what we wanted. "Lovely apartment. We had a really nice few days here. No allocated parking, but we never had a problem finding a space close by. Good to have a shop so close (literally under our feet.) Facilities were good; enough kitchen utensils, pans, etc. that we could cook meals with no problems. Nice bathroom and excellent lounge area. Seating area and space outside as well if the weather permits. Nice area to walk around as well, with harbour and coast very close by. The location is a bit off the beaten...

"Minnies cottage is in the middle of very beautiful farmland, it's close to Killeavy Castle, walking distance to a nice little pub called Johnny Murphy's and a small grocery store. The hosts and the property is warm and inviting. There were 4 of us and there was lots of room, 3 couches. The owners take pride in their property, it's very well built, beautiful and clean. Highly recommend this property if you just want a couple of days in the country or are attending a wedding at the castle."
