"Loved the Ballyroe, great location travelling through Co. Kerry and Tralee. Amazing views from the hotel, lots of parking and a great included breakfast! Rooms were large and had everything you need, comfy beds and clean bathrooms and very quiet in the area! We usually need AC in our rooms but it was comfortable all the same and highly recommend. "

"We stayed three nights in May 2026 and would highly recommend Murphy’s Farmhouse. Comfortable and very clean with lots of parking space. Great location for exploring Dingle. Two pubs within easy walking distance. Mary and Eileen are great hosts with a friendly and helpful staff."

"I really enjoyed the breakfast and the in house bar. The room was charming and slightly dated, but no big deal. The staff were excellent and delightful. My big complaint was that this hotel is next to a church. And in the AM the bells rang out at 3 different times. I know the hotel can't fix this, but it might have been better if it wasnt a surprise."

"Great place. It has real feel of being remote and away from it all. If you’re missing your pets at home they have friendly house cats and a gorgeous black Lab named Dub. Horses graze either side and sheep are across the road. Worth noting I had a sea view from my room. Have to add, they have the best and most helpful staff. Will stay again "

West Wing suite was magnificent and main hotel room stay was nearly as good. Beds comfy. Food and drink options were plentiful - from casual to fine dining. Staff great to exceptional."

"Modest facilities, but clean and functional. It has a shared small kitchen for all the guests to cook their own food so during the busy season you might end with many sharing. And on the last day some guests helped themselves to some of our stuff, not fun. Very well situated, short walk to town and restaurants/shops and the other way takes you to a charming rural area very quickly. "

"Die Gastgeberin und die Küchenchefin waren sehr super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man fühlte sich nicht als Gast sondern als Freunde, die zu Besuch kamen. Das Zimmer war einfach traumhaft und das Bad riesig. Das Bett war ebenfalls sehr komfortabel. Das Frühstück war immer frisch zubereitet die Lage an sich war ruhig aber man war in wenigen Minuten am Strand und in der Stadt."

"While vintage in appearance, the Grand Hotel looks impeccable and very clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. While we did not have the available hot breakfast, we chose the fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals and out of the oven, delicious scones. Highly recommended. "
