"A great hotel situated at the best end of the promenade offering beautiful views of the sea and flame towers (sea view rooms). Breakfast is lavish and the staff go out of their way to accomodate different food choices (we are vegetarians). Only on one day room was not serviced and had to remind them for it."

"The hotel in itself is fine. I booked a junior suite which was good value. However, if you consult a map it does not appear far to the city centre. In fact the hotel is "trapped" behind 3 enormous roads un-crossable for pedestrians and with only one underpass in the least convenient direction. There are no other commercial buildings close to the hotel. This means every day starts with a taxi (good value actually) or a walk up the same long hill alongside three lanes of thundering traffic. "I was offered a nice room with a sea view immediately upon arrival. Everything seemed to work. Room cleaning was okay, but I think they did not use vacuum cleaning often or left some areas dusted. Once I was almost denied pool access at 10:00 pm, although the reception said they close at 10:30. Breakfast was very modest and same everyday. "

My negative experience began on the first day of my stay when I arrived at the hotel and tried to enter my room using a smart card. I had to try 10-15 times before it finally worked.
