The funnel cakes at the sweet truck huge and amazing) The gated parking lot and patio to play cards at night were an added bonus! We hope to return. "This retreat was exactly what I was looking for. It offered a quiet stay surrounded by nature. I gave me a chance to reconnect with myself and to enjoy the glorious sounds of the coqui. The communication was top notch. Everyone I encountered was extremely friendly and available to assists with all my needs. This is definitely a gem. "

"The beach is a 3 minute walk. The suite is compact with a nice outdoor seating area. Everything worked fine, we cooked 1-2 meals per day and had the other meal at local restaurants. We enjoyed the local cats visiting as well as the rooster alarm clocks! The host had terrific communication with us. Our flight was delayed until very late at night. We had no problems with the lockbox and keys. Many thanks!"

The river was amazing place to cool off, relax & up river has more pools with a rock jump. They have games for you at night, pool table, we used the BBQ on property. Wish we had more time. "We had a wonderful stay! The interior was beautiful and very welcoming, and the room had all the essential amenities, all very clean and well maintained. The front patio with a beach view created such happy, relaxing vibes, and the service throughout our stay was excellent. The two days we spent here left an everlasting impression. We especially appreciated the cute kitchen and utensils, TV/internet, and the beach chairs—such thoughtful touches. Would absolutely love to stay here again."

"The pools were nice, the room was clean and spacious. I was disappointed that there wasn't a coffee maker, a blow-dryer or any of the usual amenities. There were shared microwaves in the hall but no means of cooking in your room. The restaurant was excellent and you can easily share a meal as portions are large. The staff are friendly and when the wifi wasn't working they called the company and got it back up the next day. Overall, I would recommend staying here and would give it 4.5 stars...
