Checkin process was very long and my key didn’t work - they forgot our door was malfunctioning and I received a physical key after two trips up and down. No cleaning service, they leave all supplies by the elevator. Clean, close to many attractions, front staff friendly and knowledgeable. Pretty far from subway station if you have to bring a lot of luggage (recommend taking a Grab/taxi).

Great modern hotel. Spacious comfortable rooms. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Daichi, one of the concierges was incredibly helpful, particularly with a medical matter.

We were I little unsure when we first arrived as the entrance is through a small shopping arcade
But in the end we really liked this hotel
Great position for walking central and east Kyoto
Also near to several train stations to go further afield
The bar is a wonderful place for a drink with a view after a busy day in busy Kyoto
Like everyone says get out and about early as Kyoto gets busy
Room was very nice and breakfast was good
We would recommend this hotel
