"Staff was great, room was super-clean, breakfast was fine. The building itself is small and we were on the first floor and could hear people coming and going."

However, please note that the economy studio has one tiny high window, but is essentially a windowless block bunker under the back of the building. There is no natural ventilation, light or outlook. "Lovely warm clean room perfect location. Would happily stay again"

"Great location. Handy to motorway and city. Quiet with little traffic. Room was as described and what we needed. Bathroom was lovely with heated flooring. Pool was well used by us and others. Restaurant had tasty, easy meals at a good price."

"Traditional place very cool for friends to bond no tv which is awesome basic utilities not fancy perfect for a group of people"

We were staying 5 nights with a family of 3 adults children so had to put rubbish in recycling bins. Lawns were very overgrown. Covers on...

"Couldn’t be a better location. Hotel clean, staff accommodating. Room very comfortable. Would stay again and recommend to anyone traveling to Auckland"

"Good hotel in downtown Auckland. Room was nice, so were the people. Wry small lobby space and we weren’t allowed into the bar because of a private event. We went down to the Marriot one block away… much nicer and bigger lobby space"

"Phenomenal staff. Room was great and the hotel is in a perfect location."

"Lovely room"
