"Arrived at hotel met by concierge who was pleasant and welcoming as were all the individuals who worked the entrance, Was a bit weird travelling to the ninth floor for reception but it was fine with pleasant staff. Room was clean and tidy and of a good standard with water on arrival, unfortunately it was a solo water bottle for our 4 night stay, seems petty but sink tap was tricky to work, either a trickle or a waterfall and shower controls identical. All in all a good hotel breakfast buffet description doesn’t do it justice, it was so much better than that. Our only complaint was the rooftop bar which we tried to get a drink and were informed it was waiter service, we’d been waiting 10 minutes at this stage, spoke to said waiter who said they’d be back and twenty minutes later still hadn’t been served, it wasn’t even busy and 3 waiters never arrived so we left, that was our first night and we never went back."

"I had a very comfortable and great stay for the time that I was at Urban hive. Location was really great. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the bed was incredibly comfortable. As a single woman travelling, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again as I felt safe comfortable and well looked after.."

"The staff at this hotel are very friendly and polite. They really made a difference to our stay. The hotel was nice and was kept very clean. This hotel would be great for lively couples or friends. Our disappointment was the noise level throughout the hotel. It was impossible to get any peace at all, including in our room. Since discovering it was an autism friendly hotel, we had high hopes. On arrival our son recieved an autism friendly gift bag, which was so kind and thoughtful. This really made such a difference to us, and it was highly appreciated. We requested a quiet room ahead of time and expressed our concerns regarding noise because we have an autistic son. At no point did the hotel inform us that this hotel would not be suitable. The way the hotel is set up, there is no way to escape the noise throughout this hotel. My son was upset and crying until the music stopped at 11pm every night. We were told that we have the quietest room in the hotel. I don't suffer from noise sensitivity myself, but I also struggled with the noise and found this frustrating. Its not a bad hotel, it just wasn't suitable for us. I just wished that the staff members could have informed us beforehand when I expressed concerns."

"For a one-night stay with a late check-in and early departure, this place worked great for me. The location is amazing, and I really appreciated the 24-hour staff at the door. I arrived in Madrid early in the evening and had an early morning departure, so it was the perfect setup for a quick stay. I booked last minute and somewhat rushed through the process, so I missed that the bathrooms were shared. The property did have a kitchen, but when I travel, I prefer to eat out and experience the local food scene rather than cook. Personally, I would not choose this property for a longer multi-day stay because I prefer having a private bathroom. That said, the building itself was beautiful and had incredible views."
