Nice and clean room. Good location, close to metro and café. Very friendly and helpful staff. We had a great stay in Athens. Easy to move around. Streets around hotel are dirty and stinky, but it was worth it for a 2 days stay.

Hotel itself was great, the only thing that was an issue for me was the area and feeling safe walking back during the night as a lone woman. But the distance between the hotel and the main city and tourist attraction is ideal for sightseeing.

We stayed at this location for 2 nights. My niece, brother and I in a room with 2 beds and a big balcony. The staff were extremely courteous and welcoming. The room and the inside was very clean. Pros - Friendly staff - clean inside - clean room - large room - large balcony - lockers outside (in front of building door for a fee) Cons - Area - Elevator - No Stair Rails / steep stairs The area itself is just what CityCentre unfortunately is now. Keep in mind smelly and homeless wandering around, didn’t bother us. The elevator didn’t have a door and you can see the walls passing by as you stood in the small elevator. Overall the stay was great. The staff were welcoming and attentive. We were able to visit multiple sites because of the location of the hotel.

For a budget hotel short stay, this was OK, room largely clean, beds OK, air con a must. We were only sleeping & showering in the room then out all day. Not suitable for a wheelchair user, tiny lift & lots of stairs. Had not realised when booking that this area is quite dangerous, although marketed as close to city centre, you have to walk through filthy streets past people taking drugs, sleeping on the street, we were very anxious. Taxi driver who dropped us off there said ‘don’t come to this area again!’. We found Athens to be a very dirty city, it’s hugely busy & loud, roads/drivers are crazy, take care when crossing. People are really friendly and the food is good, reasonably priced. Overall a good trip.

The value for money is great. The upkeep is not 100% but for the price acceptable. The location is practical (close to metro and a lot of useful stuff), but there are a lot of homeless people around in this area. They seem harmless and I didn't feel threatened at all, but it may not be for everyone. Traveling alone, I would come again.

The hotel was very simple but also very nice. The room was small but it had a very big terrace. Unfortunately it was raining so I didn't get to use that terrace much. I arrived at the hotel late, after reception had left but getting into the hotel and getting into my room what's not complicated. And yes there was a complimentary bottle of wine. I must admit the area outside the hotel seems a little sketchy but ultimately was fine and enough selection of bodegas and restaurants for me to get something to eat.

I suppose you get what you paid for but the room was shocking old and did not feel clean. It's in a very rough neighbourhood. The only pluses I've stumbled across a couple of really good local restaurants. I travelled by myself. I would never take a family there.

Location is good and central with starting points for Day Trips close by. Loads of shops and restaurants near by. Staff is friendly and helpful. Room was a bit on the small side, and bathroom very small (a large/fat person would probably not fit into she shower cubicle).

A nice small hotel only 2 minutes from a metro station. Very helpful staff, great quick elevator, and lots of places to eat nearby. Neighborhood a bit noisy and not posh, but ok to stay here. Comfortable room with a balcony.

Slightly dodgy area with a presence of substance abuse victims sleeping rough nearby! However they appeared harmless and there are nice local eateries at a reasonable price. The Metro is close for travel around the city and airport. The facilities in the hotel are sparse with no restaurant or cafe. The vending machine has little you would want for breakfast! Staff very helpful and friendly. Room was clean apart from a few ants! Overall I would say. Overall the price is reasonable and it is suitable for short stays.

A wonderful stay with warm Mediterranean hospitality! "I had a great experience at The Tier Hotel. I would like to thank all the reception staff, especially 'Maria', for her beautiful smile, warm welcome, and helpful advice. The management has truly succeeded in choosing such a wonderful team. The location is excellent, just about 150 meters from the metro station, making travel around Athens incredibly easy. Although the room was a bit small, it was good, comfortable, and the price was very reasonable. Most of the people here are very friendly; like everywhere in the Mediterranean, you can truly feel the warmth and respect. If I visit Athens again, I will definitely repeat the experience!"

We found the property very good. The hotel was near some really nice places to eat and the Stanley Café near the hotel was fantastic. The hotel itself was personally ideal. It was perfect for a short visit to Athens. It was clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly and I would definitely stay there again if I went to Athens the area around the hotel is not the best but we were fine. We didn’t have any issues.
