"Just got home after a lovely stay at Rowton Castle. The staff were amazing could not do enough for you. Food was good and excellently presented. The grounds were amazingly kept. First visit but definitely not the last."

"For us, just a one-night stay, but we arrived about 4pm on a Sunday afternoon, to find this is an extremely popular venue for Sunday lunches. The menu continued into the evening and we were able to see why it's so popular. A great meal, and then a lovely cooked breakfast the next morning. "The hotel was lovely but the lift sounded like it was u n need of maintenance"

"Very clean, newly refurbished pub in a good location with interesting artistic decorations by local artist who owns the property. Good base to explore this part of the Wales/England border. Comfortable room and excellent breakfast. We ate at the pub both nights and evening meal was also very good. Lovely staff. Parking seemed to be no problem, either in pub's very small car park or on roads in village."

"Absolutely wonderful stay at this gorgeous hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Great bed and spacious room. Bathtub, good size bathroom. Food and drinks good too."

"Tired, run down hotel in need of investment. No breakfast, no lifts"

"We recently stayed at the St Nicholas Boutique Hotel for one night and had a wonderful experience. The room was incredibly spacious, providing plenty of comfort and room to relax. In the morning, the breakfast was absolutely delicious and the perfect start to our day. A special shout-out to Brush, who makes the absolute best Porn Star Martinis at the bar! Throughout our entire stay, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. We loved our short time here and will definitely be...
