"The room is good and of a reasonably high standard. There are however two major challenges. The room was on the top floor which from the car park is three flights of stairs. "The truest test of a review is would we stay there again? The answer to that is sadly a no. Nothing particularly wrong, just not really a good value all things considered in the end. The property is well positioned in the city for access to grocery, chain restaurants, coffee houses and the #8 bus. There is a busy street, particularly popular on weekends nearby. "The staff were really helpful and breakfast was good. The hotel overall is tired and old fashioned. I stayed in 3 different rooms (another story) and all had different issues with them. There certainly weren't any tablecloths on the breakfast tables like the picture at the start of this survey."

"There was no air conditioning in most of the rooms, which is quite dated for a hotel of this scale. The room was unbearable with the heat wave, as it was small too there was no natural ventilation other than the window which opened slightly and it was impossible to sleep. The bathroom was very dated too, as the shower was in the bath and not big enough, the bathroom as a whole was tiny too. For the money paid it was not value for money at all."

"Lovely property in the middle of the city centre - and yet very calm and quiet. Room was excellent, with AC and space and nicely, easily decorated, ample power sockets placed in the correct place. . Breakfast is easy - buffet style and menu for hot items.. All very good - will stay again ."

"It was such a cozy place. The room was new, clean and spacy. It located right in the market street so it was easy to walk around and find something to eat. It was not too far from the city center and the railway station."
